David Ng is a science literacy academic and faculty based at the Michael Smith Laboratories at the University of British Columbia. During one of his writing stints for Boingboing.net, he became engrossed in the narrative behind Bill C-393, as well as subsequently appalled by the politicking that killed it. He plans to use this blog to keep up with the field, as well as provide the odd link to things he finds interesting.
